Elvis was the fruition of my desire for my first show dog. He came to me as a sweet puppy at 5 months of age, all the way from Elena with Weisse Orchidee in Latvia. The sweetest boy who simply wants to please those who love him. He was in his first show just days after arriving and received a group placement. Through the years since then, he has matured into a lovely Biewer Terrier, attending the 2021 inaugural BTCA Specialty in Orlando, FL, and achieving Reserve to the major, earning the National Ranking of #5 Biewer Terrier in 2022 and a Bronze Grand Championship. He has been the stud to multiple litters, and now his sons are producing lovely puppies as well. His daughters are currently in the show ring at just over a year of age and attracting wonderful compliments from those in the fancy. Elvis is a healthy, sweet Biewer Terrier male with the most amazing chill disposition, which he shares with his progeny. I couldn't be more thankful to the Lord for allowing this dog to become the foundation for Von Edelweiss Biewer Terriers..

There is a fairy tale story behind this very successful, sweet, independent pet that became a show dog. He was MY pick of the litter from the get-go. We bonded immediately. I listened to some ill-advised advice to place him as a pet, not realizing this was actually a blessing in disguise. His new mama and I stayed in touch, and I would watch him from time to time. On one occasion, I took him to a show, and he was highly admired by some fellow Biewer Terrier enthusiasts who suggested I should ask the new mama if I could show him. WELL, that's all she wrote :D. Rider's mom went all in, and this young boy has taken the Biewer Terrier Ring by storm. In 2024 Rider was awarded Best of Opposite at the BTCA's Regional Specialty in Costa Mesa. And at the National Specialty, Rider was awarded Select Dog. In 2025, Rider again was awarded Best of Opposite at the BTCA's Regional Specialty and his last show before he retired. He's currently ranked #7 Biewer Terrier in the nation (June 2025 Stats), has produced some lovely puppies with more to come, and has earned his Bronze Grand Championship with very limited showing. Enormous thanks to his mama for everything she has done for him.
