A Dog Lover From The Beginning...
I've always had dogs as far back as I can remember. I was at the veterinarian with my Boxer Honey when I was a young 20-something gal. This lady came in with Yorkshire Terriers and I fell in love. It wasn't until 11 years ago that I finally got one of my own, and she has been a true joy in our lives, matching her name, Joy.
In 2019 I was looking to add another dog to our home and came across the Biewer Terrier. That was the moment, I knew I wanted a puppy from this breed. Not only did I aspire to have this magnificent breed, but a dream I've had since I was in my 20s was to show dogs. I hadn't had the means before, and now I truly wanted to see my dream come to fruition.
As Biewer Terriers are still considered rare, it took me some time to find one, but find one we did. Her name is Mercy and we are so grateful she came into our lives. She was a great Biewer Terrier to learn from, since she has a few faults that aren't desirable in the show ring, but she helped me become a good trainer and taught me how to handle a dog and get comfortable in the show ring. Miss Mercy is currently living her best life with my dear friend and her family.
